THE AUTHOR

Jess Ward is a Bible teacher, community leader, and encourager of women who are navigating seasons of brokenness, growth, and spiritual renewal. As a Teaching Leader for Bible Study Fellowship and a devoted wife, mother, and proud “Branny” (grandmother), Jess writes with heartfelt honesty and deep biblical insight. Her debut book, Broken Can Be Beautiful, draws from her own journey through grief, healing, and rediscovery, reminding readers that God can bring purpose out of pain and beauty from every broken place.

When she’s not writing or teaching, Jess can be found cheering on her beloved Dallas Cowboys and Arkansas Razorbacks, logging miles on her Peloton, or working through a challenging jigsaw puzzle with her hubby nearby. She finds joy in traveling, sharing life with friends who feel like family, and helping women reclaim their God-given identity, one surrendered step at a time.
